Chief Revenue Officer, Clemson Sports & Campus Marketing
Nicole Metzger is chief revenue officer of Clemson Sports & Campus Marketing, headquartered in Greenville, SC. Responsible for managing the company’s Total Campus Marketing partnership with Clemson University and Clemson Athletics, Metzger works directly with university partners to provide vision, direction, and results in the strategic expansion of Clemson’s athletics multimedia and sponsorship programs.
Metzger joins JMI Sports from her former role as vice president of partnership development for Hornets Sports and Entertainment in Charlotte, NC. While working for the Hornets, Metzger’s team closed the first ever team jersey patch sponsorship with LendingTree. Prior to working for the Hornets, Metzger shared a leadership role on a select team for the Miami Dolphins that successfully negotiated an 18 year, $220M Stadium Naming Rights deal for the new Hard Rock Stadium, one of the largest in NFL history. Metzger’s extensive leadership experience includes leadership positions for the National Basketball Association, Proxy Partners, the Denver Broncos, and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. In these roles she has worked in the areas of sponsorships sales, global partnerships, sponsorship development, team marketing, and business operations.
A native of Peachtree City, GA, Metzger holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
