President, Clemson Sports & Campus Marketing
Scott Morris is president of Clemson Sports & Campus Marketing, a JMI Sports property. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Morris is responsible for managing the company’s Total Campus Marketing partnership with Clemson University and Clemson Athletics. In a strategic expansion of Clemson’s athletics multimedia and sponsorship programs, Morris and his team are providing the University with expanded campus-wide marketing services in order to generate new revenues and enhance the entire Clemson experience. As a Clemson alum, Morris brings first-hand knowledge and genuine passion to his role, where he serves as an ambassador for Clemson to the corporate community.
Morris has nearly 30 years of experience in partnership development, sales, marketing, strategy and general management. During his career, Morris has successfully led teams in growing innovative business lines across multiple market segments. Representing companies of all sizes, he has negotiated creative licensing and long-term partnership deals across a variety of industries, including retail, hospitality, technology, healthcare, consumer products, public sector, higher education, research, pharmaceutical, financial services, sports, and others.
Prior to joining JMI Sports, Morris held leadership positions at public and private companies including Oracle, Premier and Quintiles. White at Quintiles, he was part of the formation team and served as senior vice president of a market research joint venture that was spun-out, called Verispan.
A native of Rock Hill, SC, Morris earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Clemson University. He also completed an executive leadership program at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill.
