Clemson Athletics – March 7, 2017 –
Clemson University, its Department of Athletics, and JMI Sports announced today a partnership to provide Clemson University with unique, enhanced campus-wide marketing services.
The agreement will build upon the strategic expansion of Clemson’s athletics multi-media and corporate sponsorship programs and includes expanded inventory and new digital and social media opportunities.
“Clemson University is an outstanding institution with a top tier athletic department and we are honored to be selected as their partner. Our team will work tirelessly to deliver tremendous results in every aspect of this partnership” said Erik Judson, co-founder and CEO of JMI Sports.
In the process of generating significant new revenues and enhancing the Clemson experience, JMI Sports will assist in building the Clemson brand and expanding its fan base across the state, region and nation.
“This partnership will benefit both our campus and our athletics department, and creates new collaboration opportunities throughout the Clemson community,” Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich said. “The new eight-year agreement is a significant step forward from the previous, athletics-only arrangement.”
JMI Sports is a leader in helping universities capitalize on their immense marketing power through the development and management of valuable Total Campus Marketing programs and innovative digital signage networks.
“We’re excited to partner with JMI Sports on this cutting-edge approach to campus-wide marketing and look forward to, over time, identifying marketing opportunities on campus that will benefit the whole of the university – opportunities to help fund and support the Clemson Forward Plan,” Clemson Executive Vice President for Finance and Operations Brett Dalton said.
“JMI Sports has the vision, relationships, resources and experience that will enable us to maximize revenues, while upholding Clemson’s terrific brand and bringing exciting new opportunities to the Clemson campus,” JMI Sports President Tom Stultz said.
