Working 15 years in sports and entertainment, Robinson has gained broad-based experience in venue development, facility operations, event management and media production. As the first employee of JMI Sports, Robinson was critical to the company’s launch, by successfully implementing all start-up activities. Over the last six years, she has continued to build a solid operational infrastructure, manage the firm’s finances and shape its image. Robinson came to JMI Sports from the San Diego Padres, where she played an instrumental role in the production of the first concert at PETCO Park, featuring the Rolling Stones. For this world class event, Robinson coordinated significant elements within ticketing, production and hospitality. Prior to event management, Robinson worked in facility management as an employee of Hines, the ballpark’s operator and developer. During PETCO Park’s inaugural year, she collaborated with the building engineers to develop maintenance protocols, establish vendor contracts and manage capital projects. Previously, Robinson worked for Hines on the development of PETCO Park, where for three years she served as a construction contract administrator, while supporting regional business development efforts. Robinson began her career as a freelance production assistant, gaining four years of experience with well known media properties, including CBS News, ESPN X Games, Columbia Pictures and USA Network.
