Situated adjacent to the new Matthew Knight Arena and atop a new underground parking structure, the Cheryl Ramberg Ford & Allyn Ford Alumni Center will soon be the front door of the University of Oregon, welcoming prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty and community members. Providing both inspiration and information, the modern 60,000-square-foot building will include an interactive lobby, lounge, boardroom, ballroom, conference rooms and multi-purpose gathering spaces. The Center will also house the UO Alumni Association, UO Foundation and UO Office of Development. This dynamic facility will serve to foster the connections between the school and its many friends and supporters, connecting the past, present and future of the University of Oregon.

Pleased with the performance of JMI Sports on the Matthew Knight Arena project, the University of Oregon engaged our firm to also manage the development of its first class alumni center. JMI Sports is currently responsible for overseeing the design and construction teams working to build this new campus asset, which is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2011 and on track for LEED Gold certification. Ensuring that all efforts are coordinated with the adjacent arena and underground parking structure adds considerable complexity to this exciting project.
