Brent leads the creative vision and production for UK Sports Network, the University of Kentucky’s flagship multimedia platform delivering behind-the-scenes content across radio, broadcast, and digital channels. In his role, Brent oversees a team of five professionals, who produce a wide range of content such as long-form video storytelling, TV shows, social media campaigns, radio segments, and podcasts. Positioned at the intersection of creative strategy and brand value, Brent focuses on building meaningful connections with Big Blue Nation while also creating opportunities for sponsorship integration.
With nearly 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism and brand marketing, Brent brings a strong, multi-disciplinary background to his leadership at UK Sports Network. Before stepping into his current role, he worked at customer experience platform Fooji, where he developed experiential and social media marketing campaigns for major brands such as Hulu, Nike, PepsiCo, NBC Sports, and NBA on TNT. Prior to that, he served as Director of Digital Media and Content Development at the University of Kentucky property from 2016-2019 under JMI Sports, further deepening his understanding of the university’s brand and fanbase.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Brent is a graduate of Saint Louis University and currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky, with his wife, Angie, and their two young children.
