Brett manages our team focused on developing relationships with Utah Athletics’ long-term, multiyear partners and delivering premium gameday activations that meet the high standards of the Utes. He plays a pivotal role in aligning partner objectives with the department’s broader vision, driving long-term value and growth across all relationships.

Before joining JMI Sports, Brett held several leadership roles at Learfield, where he drove business development efforts for Texas Tech, the University of Arizona, and the Big Sky Conference. A proven revenue driver, he is known for consistently exceeding performance benchmarks and delivering exceptional results for partners. Career highlights include securing a five-year upsell, valued at over $5 million, with a regional credit union while with Arizona, and securing a new three-year, six-figure partnership with a local home builder during his time at Texas Tech.

Brett played college baseball and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Idaho State University. Originally from Colorado, he now lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, three sons, and two dogs.
