Theodore oversees sales, marketing, sponsorship, hospitality, multimedia rights, and branding services for Notre Dame Athletics. With offices in Chicago and South Bend, the Notre Dame Global Partnerships team manages both national and local initiatives to drive revenue on behalf of the athletics program.

Prior to joining Notre Dame, Theodore spent over a decade working in the National Basketball Association, most recently as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development at the Milwaukee Bucks. In that role, he was responsible for the evaluation and implementation of corporate strategic initiatives, with primary focus on major facility projects and the launch of team-owned ancillary businesses. Theodore was originally hired as Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Bucks, where he was responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating functions and driving integration and alignment between these functions within the organization.

In his previous role, Theodore was Senior Vice President of Team Marketing & Business Operations at the NBA in New York City, where he advised NBA and NBA G-League teams on all aspects of business operations, including ticket sales, sponsorship development, customer retention, digital/social media, marketing, and business analytics.

Prior to joining the NBA, Theodore managed an internal consulting and business analysis team at American Family Insurance Group in Madison, Wisconsin, responsible for supporting the organization’s corporate marketing and sales functions. Before joining American Family, he worked at digital agency Organic, Inc. and Deloitte Consulting, both in San Francisco.

Theodore holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
