UK SPORTS & CAMPUS MARKETING
Responsible for managing the production and development of University of Kentucky and UK Athletics’ media assets, TJ works directly with university and athletics partners to develop creative storytelling and branded media projects while also managing UK’s official radio and television partnerships.
TJ joined JMI Sports in 2018 after a career working in sports media, including spending the previous six years as the host of Kentucky Sports Television. During his time working in the media, TJ appeared on ESPN, ESPN Radio, TSN, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, and Yahoo and contributed columns and stories for various publications. Since joining UK Sports & Campus Marketing, TJ has transformed the official television partnership and launched a new model that gives the University of Kentucky one of the strongest local television presences in the country. Under TJ’s guidance, UK Sports & Campus Marketing’s television programming has won an Emmy and been honored by the Associated Press.
A native of Coppell, TX, TJ is also an instructor in the University of Kentucky College of Communications and, along with his son Tyler, the co-founder of Go For It, a non-profit that provides youth sports scholarships to children in Fayette County.
