Bret spearheads the business development and property service efforts in support of revenue growth for JMI Sports across its expanding multimedia rights business.  Bret works closely with the executive leadership team and property leaders to deliver customized, integrated analytics and strategy to support partnership offerings and platforms for brands. He serves as the direct point of contact and manager of third-party advance high-priority company initiatives forward.

Previously, Bret served as Director, Business Development for the UK Sports & Campus Marketing team, where he led business development efforts and worked closely with senior management to execute long-term property growth and increase revenue through the development of new sponsorship assets across athletics and campus businesses. Bret was a key member of the team responsible for numerous large-scale corporate partnerships, including the naming rights of the University of Kentucky football and baseball stadiums, Kroger Field and Kentucky Proud Park, and also the renaming of the Lexington Center to the Central Bank Center.

Prior to joining JMI Sports, Bret worked for IMG College on the account management team that oversaw the sales efforts for NCAA Football and the NCAA Corporate Marketing Program on behalf of IMG, Turner and CBS Sports, and also served as Vice President, Business Development at Volar Video, a digital video technology and media company.

Bret earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Strategic Communications from the University of Kentucky. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, Bret is married to his wife, Allison, and is the proud father of Madison and Grayson.
