JMI Sports Partners with the Armory Foundation to Enhance Sponsorship Sales for Prestigious Track and Field Venue and Events

Media rights and venue development company will leverage its property representation expertise to drive corporate sponsorships for historic venue’s events, including the iconic Millrose Games

New York, NY (December 1, 2021) – JMI Sports, a leading media rights and venue development company, announced today that it has entered an agreement with the non-profit Armory Foundation to be the exclusive agency to drive corporate sponsorship sales for its venue and track and field events. The Armory Foundation oversees the nation’s most iconic indoor track & field facility and the world-renown Millrose Games.

A preeminent sponsorship company with offices throughout the United States, JMI Sports will drive new revenue through strategic sponsorship agreements for track and field events and competitions hosted at The Armory in New York City. JMI Sports has a proven track record in the space as the exclusive multimedia rights partner of the Penn Relays, helping to grow corporate, community and fan support for the world’s first and largest outdoor relay meet.

Located in Washington Heights, The Armory is recognized as America’s premier indoor track & field facility. Called the “Fastest Track in the World” due to the number of high school (57) and American professional records (12) set on it, The Armory has hosted the world’s top athletes for more than a century. It is also the training home for a dozen colleges and close to 100 area high schools, as well as the National Track & Field Hall of Fame.

The Millrose Games, which is the world’s longest running and most prestigious indoor track and field competition, is scheduled to return to The Armory on Jan. 29, 2022. The event, which debuted in 1914, has sold out for nine consecutive years and attracts Olympic gold medalists, world champions and record holders to compete. The competition’s signature event, the WHOOP Wanamaker Mile, is among the most coveted prizes in indoor track and field.
